We, Dai-ichi Seiko Co., Ltd. were founded in the city of Kyoto, Japan in 1963 for the purposes of manufacturing and selling of high precision molds for plastic components, Module System(※) created in 1960 by the late founder, Mr. KONISHI Akira, for the first time in the world. We are a unique connector maker in the industry, which initiated its business along with precision moldmanufacturing technologies.


Since its establishment, based on leading technologies related to precision molding as our core competence, we have been expanding our business to small coaxial connectors for electronics devices,

components for Hard Disk Drive (HDD) system, the integrated manufacturing system for automotive components combined with multi-functioned insert molding system, and the manufacturing equipment's business such as semiconductor molding system and cutting process machine related to LCD monitors.

Especially, as the first case in the world, we succeeded in developing small gauge coaxial connectors under the brand name of "I-PEX", which are indispensable components for high speed transmission devices such as mobile phones, smartphones, tablet PCs, Wi-Fi wireless LAN and other advanced mobile devices, and we have been very proud of the largest worldwide market share until now. Furthermore, in 1980, we launched full automatic semiconductor molding machines for the first time in the world. We have been piling up those successes as a pioneer in each business field.

On January 1, 2012, we merged with our 100% subsidiaries, I-PEX Co., Ltd. and Techno Dai-ichi Co., Ltd. Taking this opportunity, we are going to make efforts to upgrade "Vertically Integrated Production System" and support system to meet our customers' request more promptly so that we can provide the innovative and high quality products to our customers. Additionally, we have unified the accounting term of all of our domestic and international group companies in order to integrate our group performance management by new ERP system enhancing the accuracy of various information related to our group's operation. We are now proceeding further to establish a new framework, the streamlined business and speedy operation until our 50th anniversary in July, 2013.

All of our group companies will strive aiming for contribution to all of stakeholders and prosperity of society, under fully driving corporate social responsibility (CSR) under our slogan, "Perfection in PRECISION" and our business philosophy, "Give priority to customers' satisfaction, therefore, take every corporate action from customers' view-point" as a real maker aiming to create new values.
