Major Features

  • Equipped with a triaxial acceleration MEMS sensor which uses a piezoelectric thin film (PZT)
  • Can detect both P waves (1 point) and S waves (2 points) in one unit
  • The detection threshold can be changed on-site
  • Maintains output of S waves even during a power failure, through the adoption of latching relays
  • Prevents detection errors by using a microcomputer to make earthquake judgments
